As the new Principal of Ward School I look forward to seeing how our Tamariki continue to develop and grow as active learners and participants in our community. Our vision of Leading Our Learning – Whai Akoranga drives everyone to be on TRACK at Ward School. We want our learners to know that they can make a difference to what and how they learn, the choices they make, and the relationships they have with others and their environment. Our “On TRACK” school values of being Together, Respectful, Adaptable, Creative, and Kind are the foundation of how we think, act, behave and grow at Ward School. At Ward School we create opportunities for every learner to have success and feel inspired to lead their learning by using “On TRACK” values all the way to the SEA. We want our awesome students to be Self-managing, Engaged, Active learners who think critically and seek to make positive impacts in their current and future communities.

Student Led Conference Times

Student Led Conference bookings are now live. On the app, select the bookings tab - select schedule - choose teacher - choose time.

Note: There can be up to 4 families booked in each session. We have allocated 1/2 an hour per session so children can share what they have been doing in each of reading, writing, maths and other curriculum areas. This equates to about 5 minutes per area plus introduction time for the teacher. If you have multiple children in the same class, please book separate times for each child.

Daffodil Day

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is Daffodil Day. Children can come dressed in Yellow and Green. A gold coin donation would be appreciated.

Pet day is fast approaching. And will be held on the last day of Term 3. Friday 25th September.

Friday - Daffodil Day

This Friday, Ward School will celebrate Daffodil Day. Children can come dressed in Green or Yellow and bring a gold Coin to donate to the cause.

Assembly CANCELED for tomorrow

Rock Pool was scheduled to run an assembly tomorrow, but due to staff illness and Professional Development, we will not be running an assembly tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding. We will let you know when this has been rescheduled.
